John Henry Comstock - John Henry Comstock (1849-1931) was an eminent researcher in Entomology and a leading educator. His work provided the basis for classification of butterflies, moths, and scale insects.
Trichoptera - A Trichoptera (from trich, hair, and ptera, wings), or caddisfly as it is more commonly known, is a small moth-like insect having two pairs of hairy membranous wings. They are closely related to Lepidoptera (moths and butterflies) who have scales on their wings.

Pupa - A pupa (plural: pupae or pupas) is the life stage of some insects undergoing transformation.
