Whitley Strieber - Louis Whitley Strieber (born June 13, 1945) is a US writer best known for his horror novels The Wolfen and The Hunger and for Communion, which professes to be a non-fictional description of his subjective experiences with non-human entities; see alien abduction. Also for being the inspiration for the blockbuster movie about sudden climate change, "The Day After Tomorrow" along with co-author Art Bell.

The Coming Global Superstorm - The Coming Global Superstorm is a 1999 book by Art Bell & Whitley Strieber which predicts that global warming might produce sudden and catastrophic climatic effects. The 2004 movie, The Day After Tomorrow is based in part on this book.
